In a recent announcement, the Punjab government has declared the schedule for summer vacations in schools across the province. According to the official notification, both public and private schools will commence their summer break from June 1. The vacations will extend until August 14, providing students and teachers with a much-needed respite from the intense summer heat.
The notification also details changes in school timings leading up to the vacation period. From Monday to Thursday, schools will operate from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM, while on Fridays, the hours will be from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. These adjustments aim to ensure that students and staff can avoid the peak heat of the day, enhancing comfort and safety during school hours.
