Mumbai (Pakistan News Online) Indian police have arrested Bangladeshi adult film actress Riya Barde for allegedly residing in India using a fake Indian passport.
Riya Barde was apprehended in Ulhasnagar, near Mumbai, by Hill Line Police after receiving a tip-off about a Bangladeshi family living in Ambernath using forged documents. Investigations revealed that a man from Amravati had prepared the fake documents for Riya and three other individuals.
Riya and her accomplices have been charged under the Foreigners Act of 1946 and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Authorities are also searching for her four associates involved in the case.
Riya’s mother, Ruby Sheikh, is a Bangladeshi citizen currently residing in Qatar, while her sister, Ritu (alias Muni Sheikh), and brother, Riyaz Sheikh, are also under investigation for their involvement in producing the fake passports.
Riya Barde has previously worked in adult films produced by Raj Kundra and has appeared alongside actress Gehana Vasisth in multiple projects. This is not her first encounter with the law, as she was previously arrested in connection with a prostitution case.
