Islamabad (Pakistan News Online) Imran Khan got extremely angry upon seeing PML-N leader Daniyal Chaudhry in courtroom during hearing of 190 million pound reference case at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
According to details, the reference was heard by Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich.
Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were presented in court from jail. PTI lawyers Salman Akram Raja, Niazullah Niazi, Ali Zafar, and Shoaib Shaheen were also present before the court.
During the hearing, Imran Khan became furious upon seeing PML-N National Assembly member Daniyal Chaudhry and questioned, “Our National Assembly member is sitting outside, how did you get in?” In response to Imran Khan’s anger, Barrister Daniyal left the courtroom.
Subsequently, the defense lawyers completed cross-examination of a witness, after which the court adjourned the case until June 21. The court summoned four more witnesses for cross-examination at the next hearing.
Later, Daniyal Chaudhry spoke to the media at Adiala Jail, saying that he had come to observe the trial as a lawyer and noted that all facilities were being provided to them.
He stated that steps are being taken to provide relief to the poor people of Pakistan and that their wrongdoings will be exposed through a transparent trial.
He also mentioned that no one assigned them the duty to observe the jail trial, and they had also witnessed the trial of Mian Nawaz Sharif here.
