Islamabad (Pakistan News online) Federal board of revenue (FBR) sent income tax notice to American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service Netflix.
Additional Commissioner CTO Islamabad has demanded more than Rs 20 crore from the streaming giant under Section 6 of the Income Tax Ordinance (ITO) 2001 for two different years. Billion in revenue has been announced.
Point to be noted that Netflix and some other companies are providing offshore digital services without having their offices in Pakistan.
