Karachi (Business Desk) The Sindh government has announced to provide free EV bikes to working women and female students.
According to news agency INP, British Deputy High Commissioner Zoe Ware met with Senior Minister of Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon, Secretary Transport Asad Zamin was also present in the meeting. Sharjeel Memon says that Sindh has started EV buses for the first time in Pakistan, Sindh has many sectors for investment, British businessmen should invest here.
Sharjeel Inam Memon also presented Sindhi Ajrak and Topi (tradional cap) to the distinguished guests. Sharjeel Memon said on this occasion that large-scale work is being done in the sectors of health, housing, education and transport, Sindh government has started EV buses for the first time in Pakistan. Sindh has many sectors for investment, they want British investors to invest in Sindh.
The provincial minister said that the plan for electric bikes for women has also been approved, and free EV bikes will be given to employed women and female students. He said that the work being done for public welfare in the province is commendable, and partnerships will be promoted in different sectors in the future.
Sharjeel Memon said that medical centers like NICVD are providing world-class facilities, the world’s largest housing project is underway in Sindh, under the project, 2.1 million houses are being built for flood victims.
British Deputy High Commissioner Zoe Ware praised the development projects of the Sindh government. He said that the work being done for public welfare in the province is commendable, and partnerships will be promoted in different sectors in the future.
