He completed the honor of scoring the fastest 1,000 runs in the ODI tournament in his 24th innings.
It should be noted that Babar Azam played only 23 runs against India, but despite this, he managed to break Saeed Anwar’s historic record.
Saeed Anwar scored the fastest 1,000 runs in 25 innings, while Javed Miandad is in third place, having scored the fastest 1,000 runs in the ODI format in 30 innings.
