Resolution Presented in Punjab Assembly for the Promotion of Punjabi Language on International Mother Language Day

Lahore: (Special Report) On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, PML-N Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Rukhsana Kausar presented a resolution in the Punjab Assembly for the promotion of the Punjabi language.

The resolution calls for the inclusion of Punjabi in school curricula, the publication of Punjabi books, and the provision of adequate space for Punjabi in electronic and print media.

Furthermore, the resolution urges government institutions and educational boards to publish official materials in Punjabi to address the challenges faced by the language.

Rukhsana Kausar emphasized that Punjabi is an integral part of our culture and identity, and its promotion is essential for preserving our history and heritage.
