Pakistani national who died in electric bicycle battery explosion in Australia identified

Islamabad (Pakistan News online)The Pakistani national who died in a fire caused by an explosion in the battery of an electric bicycle while charging in Sydney, Australia, has been identified.

According to News Agency INP, the deceased has been identified as Haider Ali, who was from Naiwala Chatha, a suburb of Alipur Chatha.

Haider Ali’s parents have appealed to the government to expedite the process of bringing their son’s body to Pakistan.

The family said that 23-year-old Haider Ali had gone to Australia two and a half years ago for education and along with education, he also used to deliver pizza on an electric bicycle.

At night, the battery of the electric bicycle that was charging in his room exploded with a loud explosion, resulting in a fire and Haider Ali lost his life.

Haider Ali’s family is overwhelmed with grief upon receiving the news of the accident and they say that in these moments of grief and anguish, the government should alleviate their suffering and ensure the return of the deceased as soon as possible.
