Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The international bullion market witnessed a drop in gold prices as the per-ounce rate fell by $8, reaching a new global price of $2,743.
In the local markets, gold prices also declined on Thursday. The price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 750, settling at Rs. 283,700, while the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs. 641, reaching Rs. 245,799.
Additionally, the price of silver also saw a reduction. The per tola price of silver fell by Rs. 30, bringing it down to Rs. 3,401, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs. 26, now standing at Rs. 2,915.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, gold prices had surged significantly, with the per tola price increasing by Rs. 4,250 to reach Rs. 287,450, and the price of 10 grams rising by Rs. 3,642 to settle at Rs. 246,440.
