Lahore ( PakistanNews ) In a major change in Punjab’s education system, the number of matriculation subject groups has been increased.
Allied Health Sciences, Agriculture, Information Technology and Entrepreneurship groups have also been included in the matriculation subjects. These new groups will also be taught from the new academic year.
Secretary Schools Education Punjab Khalid Nazir said that schools teaching health sciences will be near DHQ and THQ hospitals, however, the marks for matriculation exams will remain 1100. Students will choose the subject group at the beginning of the ninth grade.
