How much salary will Donald Trump receive as US President? Stats revealed

Washington (Pakistan News Online) US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance took the oath of office. Under US law, the president receives an annual salary of $400,000 (approximately Rs. 111.52 million), which is paid in monthly installments.

In addition, the president is also given an allowance of $50,000 (approximately Rs. 14 million) to cover expenses related to or resulting from the duties of his office. The president is entitled to use the furniture and other equipment in the executive residence at the White House.

The president is also allocated $100,000 (approximately Rs. 27.9 million) for travel and $19,000 (approximately Rs. 5.3 million) for entertainment. During his previous term, President Trump donated the money he earned from his salary to various government institutions.

According to Fox News, Vice President J.D. Vance will be paid an annual salary of $235,000 (approximately Rs. 65.5 million). Under the American Relief Act of 2025, the salaries of the vice president and some other senior political officials are restricted until March 2025, due to which they will not be able to receive their full salary.

The fixed salary of the vice president is $289,400 (approximately Rs. 87 million), but due to the salary restriction, he will be deprived of this full amount. The people selected by President Trump for the cabinet will each receive an annual compensation of more than $200,000.

Leaders of the US legislative branch, such as the Speaker of the House, the President Pro Tempore, and the Majority and Minority Leaders, also receive large salaries. The Speaker of the House is paid an annual salary of $223,500 (approximately Rs. 62.2 million).

The annual salary of the Majority and Minority Leaders of the House and Senate is $193,400 (approximately Rs. 53.9 million).  its noteworthy here that The salaries of members of Congress have not changed since 2009.
