Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has ended the big problem of those who want to get an identity card ( CNIC ) , now there is no need to stand in long queues.
According to private TV Samaa TV, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a biker service, providing great convenience to the citizens of Karachi, through which citizens will now be able to get an identity card made sitting at home or other applicant destination.
Through the new service, citizens can apply for their computerized national identity cards ( CNIC ) without going to the NADRA office or can update their information at their home or office.
DG NADRA Ehtesham Shahid said that citizens will be able to get their identity cards updated sitting at home, and to avail the facility, they will have to pay a service charge of Rs 1,000. Card renewal, B form can be made through the biker service.
Citizens will have to call 7000 or 111786100, the call center will ask the citizen about the address and the desired facility, initially there will be 3 biker riders in Karachi, one each in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.
Once your CNIC or other document is ready, NADRA will deliver it to your doorstep, there will be no need to go to the office.
It should be noted that this service has been available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad since last year.
