Mumbai (Pakistan News dot com dot pk) An alleged ‘Pakistani’ woman has been arrested in India for getting a teaching job using fake documents. She was identified as Shumaila, who was born in Pakistan and migrated to India with her parents at the age of three.
Media reports suggests that a case has been registered in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district against a 45-year-old woman who is accused of getting an assistant teacher’s job in a government primary school in 2015 using a fake domicile certificate, she has been dismissed from her job.
According to the police, the accused Shumaila Khan had declared herself a resident of Rampur at the time of her appointment, but when the Rampur district administration investigated on the request of the education department, it was revealed that Shumaila’s domicile certificate was fake.
An FIR has been registered against Shumaila at Fatehganj West police station on the complaint of Bareilly Basic Education Officer Bhanu Shankar Gangwar. Police officer Pradeep Chaturvedi said that Shumaila has not been arrested yet.
According to Basic Education Officer Sanjay Singh, last year, the intelligence unit of Rampur police had sought details of Shumaila’s documents, after which their documents were examined.
A letter was sent to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Rampur to verify Shumaila’s domicile certificate, after which it was revealed that she was a Pakistani citizen.
After the investigation was completed, the Rampur district administration cancelled Shumaila’s domicile certificate. Based on the report, Shumaila was dismissed from her job and now the government will start the process of recovering the salary taken from her during her entire service.
It has been reported that after moving to India with her parents, Shumaila completed her education in Rampur and Bareilly. A case was registered against Shamaila under sections 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable documents), 468 (forgery with intent to cheat), and 471 (using a forged document as genuine) of the Indian Penal Code.
