Paris (Pakistan News online) A French woman lost £700,000 after being tricked by fake Brad Pitt, she even divorced her husband.
According to foreign media reports, a 53-year-old French woman named Anne, an interior designer, lost nearly £700,000 after being scammed.
A man pretended to be famous Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and forced Anne to give money for her cancer treatment.
The victim said that in February 2023, she received a message on Instagram claiming that the woman who sent the message was Brad Pitt’s mother.
The next day, the woman’s son, Brad Pitt, contacted Anne and said that his mother had talked a lot about Anne.
After that, the two exchanged daily conversations, poems, and fake photos and videos for a year, which made the woman trust the man and think he was the real Brad Pitt.
The online fraudster told Anne that he was suffering from cancer and wanted financial help to treat the disease because all his money and accounts were blocked due to his divorce from his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie.
Anne lost her mind in love with this fraudster and not only transferred him 670,000 pounds but also divorced her husband.
The truth was revealed when Anne saw real photos of Brad Pitt on the Internet in which he was with his girlfriend, she admitted that she was deceived by emotions.
