London (Pakistan News Online) Jon Moorby, known as Mr Big, a key member of an international cocaine trafficking ring in the UK, has proposed to his Thai girlfriend Lalida Brabon for marriage.
Moorby ran a drug trafficking network on Teesside and transported cocaine from Europe to the UK by helicopter. In 2014, he fled the UK to Thailand and continued his drug business from there.
According to the Daily Star, in 2017, Thai police arrested him on a speedboat chase off the island of Ko Modsom.
In 2019, he was brought back to the United Kingdom (UK), where Morby, who was already serving a 15-year sentence, was sentenced to another 14 years in prison.
While in prison, Moorby, known as Mr. Big, proposed to his Thai girlfriend, Lalida, saying, “Lalida has always been my love, I love her and my daughter Lily with all my heart.”

Lalida hails from a rural area and had been living with Morby since he separated from his ex-wife Kelly, who he married in 2013. However, after his arrest, Lalida cut off contact with Moorby, fearing his dangerous lifestyle.
Morbi, who is in high security as a Category A prisoner, is hoping to be released in 2028 under the government’s 40 percent sentence reduction scheme.
