Riyadh (Waqar Naseem Wamiq) – The literary organization, Aalmi Halqa-e-fikrofunn hosted a poetry session titled “Sham-e-December” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Poets presented their verses and garnered applause from the audience, while speakers shared good wishes for the coming New Year.
The session, presided over by Chairman Dr. Riaz Chaudhry, featured renowned poet Tayyab Raza Kazmi, Vice Chairman Adnan Iqbal Butt, and senior journalist Ilyas Raheem as honorary guests.
Various officials and members of the organization, as well as prominent figures from the Pakistani community, also attended.
The event was moderated by young poet and Deputy General Secretary Kamran Hassani, who also presented his poetry to great acclaim.
Other poets, including Tayyab Raza Kazmi, Zawaq Ali Zaki, Sajjad Ali Chaudhry, Qalb-e-Abbas, and Dr. Riaz Chaudhry, delivered their verses impressively, earning applause from the attendees.
Dr. Riaz Chaudhry, Adnan Iqbal Butt, Makhdoom Amin Tajir, Dr. Mahmood Bajwa, and others expressed that HFF has been striving to promote literature for the past 43 years, organizing various poetry and literary sessions in Saudi Arabia for literature enthusiasts and connoisseurs. They affirmed that this tradition will continue in the future.
At the end of the program, Chief Editor of Pehchan-e-Pakistan News Group, Zakeer Ahmed Bhatti, presented honorary certificates to the members of HFF.
Additionally, Dr. Riaz Chaudhry, Chairman HFF, awarded senior journalist Zakaullah Mohsin with an honorary shield in recognition of his journalistic services.
