Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on Friday, December 27, to mark the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
According to details, the Sindh government has issued an official notification declaring the public holiday. All provincial departments, local councils, and autonomous corporations will remain closed on this day.
Earlier, the Sindh government requested the federal government for a helicopter to ensure aerial surveillance during the commemoration in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where the main event will take place. A letter was sent by the Sindh Home Department to the Federal Ministry of Interior, seeking a helicopter for the occasion.
