New Delhi (Pakistan News) famous ex indian female cricketer Mithali Raj has revealed about the questions asked during conversation with her potential groom, saying that I was asked how many children I want, will I have to quit cricket, will I take care of my mother?
Due to her achievements, the legendary female cricketer recalled the strange and awkward conversation and said that I asked my potential groom at that time, “What kind of questions are these?”
During the podcast program, Mithali revealed these strange questions that despite being an active cricketer, the potential groom said that you have to quit cricket so that you can take care of the children after marriage.
She said that the expected relative was sent by my mother’s sister, so I agreed to talk, but I was quite upset by such questions, because I had never imagined these things nor had I ever discussed them with anyone.
Mithali said that I always thought about Indian cricket, I was surprised by the questions like how many children I wanted or would I have to give up my favorite cricket to get married.
She said that I was the current captain of India at that time, I still remember all these questions even though I don’t remember his name.
During the conversation, I was also asked that if something happened to my mother, would you take care of her or go play cricket?
I immediately replied, ‘What kind of question is this?’ He said, ‘I need to know what is more important to you,’ I replied, ‘It will depend on the situation,’ I don’t remember what I said next, but he clearly stopped me.
Mithali revealed that even some of her friends asked her to change her perspective on certain things, because if she didn’t do that, she would never find a life partner.
He further said that my cricketer friend had said that you will have to adjust a little because you will never find someone who will allow you to follow the same lifestyle.
I told him that the question made no sense, but he replied that most men want to ask such questions.
The former captain said that it had not occurred to me till then, I felt that my parents had sacrificed a lot, I could not leave them for such a random person.
It should be noted that Mithali, who holds several records, has always kept Indian cricket above her personal life. Mithali is unmarried till now, she has dedicated her entire life to Indian cricket.
