Peshawar (Pakistan News Online) Following the viral spread of an inappropriate video of Peshawar’s transgender person Dolphin Ayan on social media, a case has been filed for the first time under the PECA Act in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Based on Dolphin Ayan’s complaint, a case was registered at the Hashtnagri police station, naming seven individuals, including the main accused, Imran.
According to the FIR, Dolphin Ayyan stated that in 2023, Imran and his accomplices abducted him at gunpoint from Shabqadar area, took him to a room, and filmed an inappropriate video.
Dolphin Ayan claimed that the accused continued to blackmail them using this video and would also summon them to meet at various times.
On October 29, Ayan became aware that their video had gone viral on social media, causing severe damage to their reputation and that of their family.
Dolphin Ayan has urged the police to promptly arrest the accused and provide justice.
