Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – An event was organized by the officials of PML-N Saudi Arabia to celebrate the appointment of Barrister Amjad Malik as the Vice Chairman of the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission by Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz.
The President of PML-N Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saeed Ahmed, Senior Vice President Mahmood Haq Dogar, President Riyadh Region Adnan Iqbal Butt, President Youth Wing GM Awan, Makhdoom Amin Tajir, Dr. Mahmood Bajwa, President Hazara Region Abdul Latif, and others expressed their congratulations.
They highlighted that over 9 million Pakistanis reside abroad, representing all four provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
The establishment of the Overseas Commission in Punjab is highly commendable, providing an excellent platform for overseas Pakistanis to address their issues. They praised Barrister Amjad Malik as a highly suitable individual to fulfil the responsibilities of Vice Chairman of the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission.
The speakers further noted that Barrister Amjad Malik is not only a responsible individual but also a compassionate person who has always guided and assisted overseas Pakistanis effectively. Previously, he rendered valuable services as the Chairman of OPF.
The Punjab Overseas Commission will effectively resolve various issues, and this is a commendable initiative by the Punjab government. They expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for taking all possible steps to fulfil her promises.
In a telephonic conversation, Barrister Amjad Malik thanked the participants and stated that overseas Pakistanis have always been close to his heart. Having lived abroad for a long time, he is well aware of the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis. He assured that he would strive to resolve these issues in a proper and legal manner.
