Islamabad (Pakistan News Online) A video is going viral on social media which shows a cashier at one of Islamabad’s popular eateries ‘Crusteez Donuts’ in Blue Area making abusive remarks towards Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
According to details, It spread like wildfire through the social networks just before it showed how the cashier refused to serve him, using a word which though not looking obscene still carries derogatory meaning, in order for it to be likened to some curse or condemnation.
Incident was reported when he visited the institution with his family.

However, social media broke out after the video was put out, as some users defended the cashier and explained it as a form of free speech against a controversial public figure. Others condemned it to be an inappropriate behavior.

This action was an individual decision and does not reflect our company’s values.We are investigationg the situation to understand the context fully. While respecting personal beliefs, service  should never be denied based on individual opinions. We are reinforcing training across all locations to ensure our teams uphold our standards of inclusivity and professionalism”.

It is there that the severity of the issue surfaces as the authorities had sealed the bakery over issues of health-related violation. Sources claim that the shop is now reopened.
Crusteez Donuts’ sealing has brought controversy about the limits to freedom of speech and the price paid in speaking out publicly against influential people. The shutdown is said to represent overreaching by the authorities and questions the balance between respect afforded toward public figures and the capacity to dissent.
