UAE became the first country in the Arab world to build a nuclear plant

Abu Dhabi (Pakistan News) United Arab Emirates (UAE) has completed the Arab world’s first nuclear power plant.

According to the Arab media, in the statement released by the United Arab Emirates Atomic Energy Corporation, announced the completion of nuclear power plant, this is a very important step towards nuclear energy.

The electricity generated from this nuclear power plant will be supplied to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) including Emirates Steel and Emirates Global Aluminum, report suggests.

The statement added that the nuclear power plant has the capacity to generate 40 terawatts of electricity annually, which will meet 25 percent of the country’s electricity needs.

It should be noted that the first reactor of this nuclear power plant started functioning in 2020 and now the fourth reactor has also become fully operational.
