Karachi (Pakistan News) Natasha Danish, the primary suspect in the Karsaz road accident that resulted in two fatalities and left four others injured, is currently in custody under a 14-day judicial remand. The incident has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many demanding justice.

Among the claims being circulated is the assertion that Natasha cannot be “mentally ill,” as her lawyer suggests, because she supposedly serves on the boards of multiple companies.

However, this claim is inaccurate. While a Natasha is indeed listed as a board member of several companies within the Gul Ahmed conglomerate, she is not Natasha Danish. Instead, this Natasha is Ms. Natasha Iqbal, the sister of Danish Iqbal (CEO of Gul Ahmed Energy) and the sister-in-law of Natasha Danish, the accused driver in the incident.

Ms. Natasha Iqbal has no direct connection to the accident, other than her relation to Natasha Danish. Despite this, many individuals, including prominent figures like Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Shehzad Ghias, have mistakenly linked her to the case, questioning how someone allegedly “mentally ill” could hold multiple board positions.

This criticism, while understandable, is based on a misidentification. It is worth noting that in Pakistan, it is common for multiple family members to serve on the boards of family-owned businesses, which may have contributed to the confusion.
