New Delhi (Pakistan News) Indian athlete vinesh phogat breaks silence on her Disqualification in Paris Olympics. After the disqualification, the wrestler announced her early retirement and apologized to from nation for being disqualified.
According to details, Vinesh Phogat opened up about her feelings in a detailed three-page post on social networking site X. Indian wrestler said that when I was fighting during the wrestlers’ protest, I was fighting hard for the dignity of Indian women and the sanctity of the Indian flag, It bothers me a lot when I see pictures of me being made with the Indian flag.
Female Indian wrestler further said that I wanted the Indian flag to fly high in Olympics 2024, to have an image of the tricolor with me that truly restore its sanctity, my team and I did not give up in the face of the situation but sadly, time did not support us.
There is so much to say but perhaps my words will never be enough and I may return to this subject at the right time. Ms. Phogat further added.
“It is like an unfulfilled dream for me and my team, the people of India and my family that the goal we were working towards and what we had planned to achieve has remained unfulfilled,” vinesh said.
The female wrestler further said that under different circumstances, I would have played till 2032 because the fight and wrestling within me will always be with me. “I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I do know that I will always stand by my principles and what is right,” she reiterated.
