Public holiday announced on 20th August

Karachi (Pakistan News) The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on August 20 in honor of the Urs of the great Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.

According to details, the Sindh government has issued a notification announcing the public holiday on the occasion of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai’s Urs.

The three-day Urs celebrations, held annually at the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai in Bhit Shah, will commence on 14 Safar according to the Islamic calendar.

Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai’s Urs is not only a significant spiritual event but also a cultural festival that attracts large crowds to Bhit Shah.

The celebrations typically include recitations of the poet’s verses, Sufi music, and various cultural performances that highlight the rich heritage of Sindh.
