According to private TV channel Geo News, in the budget 2024-25, the salary of employees up to grade 16 was increased by 10 percent, which has been decided to be increased to 25 percent, while the salary of employees above grade 17 has been increased by 20 percent. the pension has also been increased by 10% Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam.
Its noteworthy that the kpk government had announced a 10 percent increase in salaries for all government employees in the budget. Now Muzamil Aslam said in a video statement that the federal government had announced a 25 percent increase for employees of grades 1 to 16 and 20 percent for employees above grade 17 and 15 percent increase in pension, after that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet also approved the increase in salaries and pensions in the federal style.
The increase in salaries will put an additional burden of 75 to 80 billion rupees on the treasury of the province.
