Makkah (Pakistan News) Saudi Arabia has eased the visit visa requirements for Pakistani tourists. Under the new rules, Pakistani tourists can now obtain a Saudi visit visa by submitting a bank statement showing a monthly credit of $750 or its equivalent.

In 2023, more than 43% of Pakistani tourists visited Saudi Arabia compared to the previous year, and 2.7 million Pakistani tourists are expected to visit Saudi Arabia in 2024. To facilitate this increasing number of tourists, six promotional offices have been established in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Multan.

These promotional offices offer user-friendly and excellent services, including visa application guidance, biometric registration, status tracking, and passport delivery. Travelers can avoid long waits by scheduling an appointment on the Tasheer website before their trip.

Saudi Arabia has also introduced a transit visa for Pakistanis traveling with Saudi Airlines and Flynas, allowing tourists to visit Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours. Additionally, an on-arrival visa is available for those with valid UK, US, or Schengen visas.

Last year, Saudi Arabia introduced a one-year multiple-entry visa for Pakistani travelers. This visa allows travelers to explore various cities in Saudi Arabia and enjoy the country’s cultural and natural wonders during multiple trips within one year. Pakistani travelers with this visa can also perform Umrah, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to promoting spiritual journeys and cultural exchange.

These measures will not only encourage Pakistani citizens to visit their friends and family and perform Umrah, but also to explore the vibrant cityscape of Riyadh, the cultural heritage of Jeddah, the hidden treasures of the Red Sea, and the ancient wonders of AlUla.

Saudi Arabia offers a year-round destination for tourists, providing cool summers and vibrant winters. For more information about visa applications, visit visa.mofa.gov.sa and vc.tasheer.com. To learn about various travel offers and guidelines, log on to www.visitsaudi.com.
