Lahore (Pakistan News Online) WhatsApp has once again decided to stop supporting its services on mobile phones that are 10 years old.
 According to reports, WhatsApp will be ending support for numerous older Android and iPhone models, specifically for a total of 35 devices operating on Google and Apple’s systems.
 The aim is to ensure the delivery of new features and security updates to users. Updating the operating systems on older phones from companies like Samsung, Apple, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, and others is not feasible.
The support for WhatsApp will be discontinued on the following Apple models: iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, and iPhone SE.
For Samsung, the affected models include: Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Express 2, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Note 3 N9005 LTE, Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE Plus, Galaxy S 19500, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini 19190, Galaxy S4 Mini 19192 Duos, Galaxy S4 Mini 19195 LTE, and Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Motorola’s Moto G and Moto X smartphones will soon no longer be able to use WhatsApp.
Huawei models such as Ascend P6 S, Ascend G525, Huawei C 199, Huawei GS1 S, and Huawei Y625 will also lose support.
Sony Xperia Z1, Xperia M, and Xperia E3 are on the list as well.
LG’s Optimus 4X HD P880, Optimus G, Optimus G Pro, and Optimus L7 will also no longer be supported.
Lenovo’s models including 46600, A 8585 T, P70, S 890, and A 820 are included in the list.
Additionally, Fair F1, THL W8, ZTE V956, ZTE UMI X2, ZTE Grand S Flex, ZTE Grand Memo, Archos 53 Platinum, Wiko Cink Five, and Wiko Darknight will also lose WhatsApp support.
Users will now be able to use WhatsApp only on Android phones running Android 5.0 or later versions. For iPhone users, devices must have iOS 12 or later versions to use WhatsApp.
It is important to note that WhatsApp continuously improves its user interface and privacy settings, introducing features that are compatible with the latest operating systems of Apple and Android.
