Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The naked body of a woman was found in a hotel in Karachi, whose husband managed to escape from the scene.
According to the police, the body of a woman was found in a private hotel room near Shahrah-e-Faisal Nursery, identified as 35-year-old Irum, wife of Adil. The woman was killed by stabbing her in the neck with a sharp object.
According to the authorities, screams and fighting were heard from the hotel room located within the limits of Tipu Sultan police station, after which the administration reached the room and found the woman’s body naked inside, while the accused had fled the scene.
The police were immediately informed, on which the police reached and took the body into custody and sent it to Jinnah Hospital.
The deceased Irum was a resident of Chanisar Goth and a mother of 3 children. The deceased was present in the hotel room with her husband Adil. The deceased’s husband Adil has been absconding since the incident.
According to the initial investigation, the husband of the accused is a butcher by profession and the accused allegedly came with a knife from a meat shop on Burns Road on Friday evening and after committing the crime with the same knife, he left the murder weapon at the scene and fled.
The police took the murder weapon into custody and conducted raids at I.I. Chand Regar Road and Burns Road in search of the accused, but he could not be arrested.
The accused’s brother is also absconding since the incident, while the reasons for the fight between the victim and her husband have not yet been revealed.
