Tokyo (Pakistan News online) Former Japanese adult star Rae Lil Black, who visited Pakistan last month, has converted to Islam. She has also deleted all pornographic photos and videos on her social media profiles.

Rae Lil Black, also known as Kaya Asakara, said that she learned about Islam and then converted to it during a visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2024.

the former actress said, “They were very nice to me, they welcomed me with open hearts. I thought these people are so nice, why shouldn’t I try to understand their culture?”

A week before Ramadan, Rae hosted a meet and greet with her fans in Singapore, where she was given gifts like prayer mats and travel prayer kits. She also shared photos and videos of her visits to various mosques before and during Ramadan.

In one of her posts, Rae said, “I hope this beautiful month will give us all the opportunity to get closer to Allah as well as our loved ones, family, brothers and sisters. I am so excited and hope that God and you guys will give me the strength to get through this month. Ramadan Mubarak!”

Rae performed her first aftar and prayers in Kuala Lumpur on March 9. She also shared short clips of her walking around the city wearing a hijab and posing outside the famous Sri Sandiang Mosque.

During Ramadan, Rae posted about her first experience with fasting and also shared videos of her breaking her fast with her fans online. She denied allegations from TikTok users that she was not fasting but was ‘just creating content’.

In a video posted on March 7, Rae said, “Well, I am fasting. First of all, I am doing my job. I am surrendering my pure intention to Allah, so don’t worry about me. Please focus on your life.”

When asked about the claims on the podcast, she defended herself by saying that she is still not actively making pornographic films. She explained, “These videos were filmed in the past and I do not own them. Once a film is made, they have the right to publish it whenever they want, so some videos are years old but haven’t been posted yet.”
