Lahore, Peshawar (Pakistan News online) After the Sindh government, the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) also announced to pay advance salaries to their employees.
According to the report, the Punjab Finance Department announced to release the salaries of government employees ahead of time on Eid ul Fitr, a notification of which has also been issued.
The notification said that government employees should be paid salaries on March 26. The Punjab Finance Secretary has sent a notification to the relevant departments for the early payment of salaries of government employees.
On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to pay the salaries of government employees for the month of April ahead of time in view of Eid .
The notification issued by the government said that the salaries of all Muslim government employees will be paid on March 20 instead of April 1.
It was further said that pension payments to retired government employees will also be made on March 20.
It may be recalled that earlier, the Sindh government had issued a notification to release advance salaries to all government employees of the province.
According to the notification issued, advance salaries to Sindh government employees will be paid on March 21.
