New Delhi (International Desk) An Israeli tourist was gang-raped in India, Police confirm the incident and said that a case has been registered in the incident.
According to Indian media, two women were gang-raped on Thursday night, including a 27-year-old Israeli tourist and her companion.
The incident occurred when both women were in the Koppal Canal area, 350 kilometers from Bengaluru, and were accompanied by three other passengers.
According to the police, the accused pushed three passengers, including an American citizen and two Indian citizens, into the canal before raping the woman. After falling into the canal, one Indian citizen drowned and died, while the other two saved their lives by swimming.
According to the police, the Israeli tourist who was raped is being provided medical assistance in the hospital. The woman said in her initial statement that she was first tortured and then allegedly gang-raped by the accused.
