ISLAMABAD (Pakistan News online) The Federal Ministry of Finance has issued a specific notification regarding the new pension procurement methodology, the pension will now be calculated on an average salary of the last two years.
According to the notification, from January 1, 2025, a double or multi -bridge pension has been banned, but this condition will not apply to federal employees who are receiving dual pension before January 1, 2025.
News agency “online” told that Under the new rules, if a government employee gets a new job after January 1, 2025, he will have to choose one of the salary or pensions.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the additional increments received in the last year of the job will not be included in the pension.
In addition, the family pension will now be calculated on a net pension basis. The notification also states that these decisions will not be applied to employees who retired before January 1, 2025.
