Lahore (Sports Desk) Pakistan cricket team’s interim head coach Aqib Javed has accepted responsibility for the defeat in the Champions Trophy.
According to News agency INP, while Talking to the media, Aqib Javed said that he accepts responsibility for the defeat in the Champions Trophy, but for success, continuity in decisions from the players to the appointment of the board chairman is necessary.
He said that dropping Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi does not mean that their names have been crossed out.
The interim head coach further said that the team felt the lack of an all-rounder, hence Shadab Khan has been included.
The interim head coach has announced that Muhammad Rizwan will lead the ODIs while Salman Ali Agha will be the T20 captain.
