Champions Trophy; Fakhar Zaman out of match against India? Three new name emerges

Lahore, Karachi (Sports Desk) Fakhar Zaman has been possibly out of the match against India during the Champions Trophy and three new names have emerged in his place.

According to the details, in the opening match played in Karachi, the aggressive opener of the national team, Fakhar Zaman, was injured on the boundary line while fielding, due to which he had to be out of the field for some time.

The statement issued by the board said that according to initial reports, Fakhar Zaman has sprained his muscle, but reports are being awaited, after which another cricketer can be made part of the squad in place of the opener.

Later, the PCB confirmed that opener Fakhar Zaman will not travel to Dubai with the team for the match against India due to injury.

Experienced Imam-ul-Haq is a strong contender to be included in the playing XI in the match against India due to opener Fakhar Zaman’s injury.

Meanwhile, the selectors are also considering the names of opener Abdullah Shafiq and youngster Mohammad Hurairah after Fakhar Zaman’s injury.
