Three Pakistani cities among the world’s cheapest cities

New York (Business Desk) Inflation is felt due to the prices of utility bills, fruits, vegetables and other daily necessities, but the names of three Pakistani cities also appeared in the list of the world’s cheapest cities.

According to private TV Geonews, the annual list of lifestyle expenses of data company Numbeo has been ranked considering the lifestyle expenses of New York residents.

The list ranked 327 cities around the world by considering the lifestyle expenses of New York residents, including areas such as rent, shopping, hotel prices and purchasing power.

In this list, 3 Swiss cities Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva were declared the most expensive cities in the world. New York was ranked fourth on the list.

The Swiss cities of Basel and Bern were ranked fifth and sixth respectively. Similarly, the two American cities of San Francisco and Honolulu were ranked seventh and eighth, while the Icelandic capital Reykjavik was ranked ninth.

The American city of Boston was ranked the 10th most expensive city.

According to the list, the cheapest city in the world is Coimbatore in India, followed by Alexandria in Egypt.

The list stated that Lahore and Karachi are the third and fourth cheapest cities in the world, respectively, which are 85% cheaper than Zurich. Similarly, Islamabad is ranked 314th on the list, which is 83% cheaper than Zurich.
