New Delhi (International Desk) Bangladesh’s ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wajid has vowed during her exile that she will return and avenge the blood of workers and police personnel.
Keep in mind that Sheikh Hasina has been in exile in India since she was ousted from power on August 5.
According to Indian media, in a virtual address to her supporters, Sheikh Hasina spoke to five widows and their children hosted by Awami League (Europe Chapter) President Nazrul Islam from an undisclosed location. The session, which lasted about 45 minutes, was watched by seven to eight thousand people on YouTube.
During the address, Sheikh Hasina appealed to her supporters for patience and unity, saying, “I will return, I will avenge my martyrs. I have done justice before and I will do it again. This is my promise.”
