In a hospital in India, an indian nurse bandaged the wounds of a 7-year-old child with Elfie instead of stitching them.
According to the details, a 7-year-old child was brought to a government hospital in Haveri district of Karnataka state due to a wound on his face, where a nurse named Jyoti, instead of stitching the wound on the child’s face, bandaged the wound with Elfie.
Defending her action, the nurse said that she used Elfie so that the child’s face would not get marks, however, due to the nurse’s negligence, the child’s parents filed a case against her.
According to the latest reports, instead of punishing the nurse for violating medical rules, she was transferred to another hospital. However, when the matter came to the knowledge of the government, the nurse was dismissed from her job.
