Islamabad (Business desk) A decrease was recorded in the retail cement rate in the Pakistan during the last week.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, in the week ended January 23, the average retail price of cement per sack in the northern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1387, which is 0.66 percent less than the previous week.
In the previous week, the average retail price of cement per sack in the northern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1396. Similarly, the average retail price of Duran cement per sack in the southern cities of the country last week was recorded at Rs 1384, which was also Rs 1384 in the previous week.
According to the statistics, during the last week, the average retail price of cement per sack in Islamabad was Rs 1364, Rawalpindi 1344, Gujranwala 1370, Sialkot 1380, Lahore 1450, Faisalabad 1410, Sargodha 1393, Multan 1391, Bahawalpur 1400, Peshawar 1400 and the average retail price of cement per sack in Bannu was recorded at Rs 1350.
Similarly, during the last week, the average retail price of cement per sack in Karachi was Rs 1339, Hyderabad 1340, Sukkur 1450, Larkana 1400, Quetta 1435 and Khuzdar 1337 rupees were recorded.
