India announced squad for the Champions Trophy 2025

Mumbai ( Sports Desk ) Board of India, BCCI has announced a 15 member squad for the Champions Trophy 2025, Rohit Sharma will be the captain, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have also been made part of the squad.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is starting in Pakistan from February 19, India refused to send its team to Pakistan, due to which all the matches of the Indian team have been held in the UAE.

The Indian Cricket Board has announced its 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy, which will be led by Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami has returned to the team, while Jasprit Bumrah, who is in an uncertain situation due to injury, has also been made part of the squad, while Mohammed Siraj will not be part of the Champions Trophy team.

The Indian team will play its matches in Dubai, which will start with a match against Bangladesh on February 20. In the second match, arch-rivals Pakistan and India will clash, while the Indian team’s third match will be against New Zealand.

The Indian squad includes senior players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja as well as young players Yashasvi Jaiswal and Arsdeep Singh.

Kuldeep Yadav will be the main spinner in the Indian squad, along with Axar Patel, Washington Sundar.

It should be noted that in the last Champions Trophy 2017 final, India, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Pakistan, while the Green Shirts were led by Sarfaraz Ahmed.
