Lahore (Pakistan News online) Amidst rising unemployment, Punjab Police has announced the recruitment of 6,000 constables and lady constables and applications have been invited from candidates in this regard.
According to the letter, online forms for recruitment will be available on the Punjab Police website from January 11 to 25. Candidates will submit their forms in the respective districts along with a service charge of Rs 300. The recruitment boards will ensure transparency in the process.
Moreover, the candidate must be a resident of the province of Punjab, the respective district and have an identity card. No concession will be given to the candidate for recruitment.
According to the announcement, the DIG recruitment board will be the chairman, the concerned CPO or DPO will be the secretary and the SP will be the member. The recruitment schedule for each district of Lahore will be issued by the CPO.
According to the letter, the height of the candidate for a male should be 5 feet 7 inches and for a female 5 feet 2 inches. The candidate who is interested in recruitment should have 50 percent marks in the secondary board, the age limit should be 18 to 25 years.
