3 lakhs for the bride on marriage and a salutation of one lakh rupees, plan ready

Lahore (Pakistan News online) The government in Punjab has decided to start a plan to arrange the marriages of the daughters of deserving families, under which a package of 3 lakhs and a salutation of one lakh rupees will be given to the bride.

According to the details, the Punjab government will bear the expenses of the marriage of the daughters of deserving families under the Dhi Rani program. Under the Dhi Rani program, the first mass marriage ceremony of 52 girls will be held in Lahore this week.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will be the special guest of the ceremony organized by the Social Welfare Department.

Under the plan, the Punjab government will give a package of three lakhs and six thousand rupees to each bride on a marriage, while a salutation of one lakh rupees will be given to each bride through an ATM card in the package.

The Social Welfare Department has allocated a fund of one billion rupees for mass marriages. Before the Dhi Rani program, only 30 thousand rupees were provided from the Bait-ul-Mal for dowry.
