Islamabad (Pakistan News online) Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has asked for millions of rupees from its members of the assembly and ticket holders.
The news agency INP quoted media sources as saying that PTI is currently in severe financial crisis and the employees associated with the party have not received their salaries for 3 months, due to which the Tehreek-e-Insaf has immediately started a fundraising campaign.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has asked for Rs 240,000 annually from its members of the assembly and ticket holders, the responsibility of collecting which has been entrusted to Chief Whip Aamir Dogar and parliamentary leaders.
The letter written in this regard says that the members of the assembly and party ticket holders should deposit funds in two installments. Sources say that the party has asked for funds after the instructions of PTI founder Imran Khan.
In this regard, letters have been sent by the PTI Chairman, Secretary General, and Additional Secretary General, stating that the party is currently going through the most difficult financial crisis in history.
