Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Jeddah: A poetry recital was held in Jeddah, where poets delighted the audience with their beautiful poetic compositions.
The event was organized by the Kababish Arts Council of Jeddah and the literary organization Aalmi Halqa-e- Fikr-o-Fun Jeddah Chapter.
The session was presided over by Dr. Syed Naeem Hamid Ali Al-Hamid, with the renowned poet and writer Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi from Canada as the Chief Guest.
Poets including Aftab Turabi, Syed Tashfeen Mujahid, Faisal Tufail, Imran Awan, and Waheed Qadri Arif recited their poetry and received great applause from the attendees.
On this occasion, Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, Syed Naeem Hamid Ali Al-Hamid, and Malik Ali Khurshid Sultan expressed their views, emphasizing that Urdu literature holds a unique place worldwide, and the efforts of Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia to promote literature are commendable.
On this occasion, Dr. Naeem Hamid Ali Al-Hamid’s book “Bahaar Ejadi Baidil” was formally launched by Dr. Taqi Abidi.
The poetry recital was hosted by Aftab Turabi, President of the Aalami Halqa Fikr-o-Fun Jeddah, with active participation from both the Pakistani and Indian communities.
