ISLAMABAD (Pakistan News online ) A ban has been imposed on Pakistanis going to Uzbekistan for work.
According to a report by private TV channel Aaj News, the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment has issued orders to temporarily ban the movement of Pakistanis seeking employment in Uzbekistan.
This decision was taken after reports received by the Foreign Ministry stating that Pakistani workers living in Uzbekistan are not receiving salaries and are facing unsuitable working conditions.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, in the announcement issued in this regard, instructions have been issued to all protectorate offices across the country to immediately stop the ‘protectors’ of more workers for Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that for employment abroad, the government puts a ‘protector’ on the passport, without which a Pakistani cannot travel abroad for employment.
This is a stamp or sticker that is now affixed with a barcode. The notification said that if an application is received in an emergency, the Protectorate of Emigrants can send the relevant case to the Pakistani embassy, but for this it will be necessary to obtain all the necessary documents and full confirmation from the employer.
