The famous TikToker from the Rajab family is facing criticism for allegedly insulting prayer, an important part of Islam, in one of his videos.
Rajab Ali Butt met with scholars from different schools of thought in the past few days, including Allama Makhdoom Asim, Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Allama Ashraf Rabbani and Allama Muhammad Ishtiaq Ashrafi and others.
The YouTuber put his version before the scholars and apologized. The video of Rajab Ali Butt apologizing in the presence of scholars has been shared on social media.
It should be noted that Rajab Ali had shared a video of himself in which he is allegedly seen insulting prayer. However, Rajab Ali, while apologizing, said that one of his videos is being criticized for saying that I have insulted the prayer, I ask Allah for forgiveness, I cannot even think like that.
He requested the scholars in this regard and took time from them to present his position before them. He definitely had no such intention. However, if any of his words or actions have hurt the hearts of Muslims, then I apologize to Allah and I apologize to the scholars. He has not asked for this apology to please any human being but to please Allah Almighty.
On this occasion, the scholars said that they have seen Rajab Butt’s video and they do not think that there is anything insulting in it.
Allama Asim Makhdoom said that no Muslim can even think of desecrating Islam or Islamic slogans.
It should be noted that a lawyer from Lahore, Mian Bilal, has also filed a petition against the tik toker in Lahore’s Muzang police station regarding Rajab Butt’s video.
