Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The provincial government has declared a public holiday on Wednesday and Thursday, all government offices will remain closed.
According to private TV channel Aaj News, the government has also issued a notification. According to the notification, a public holiday has been announced in all government offices on Wednesday, December 25, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, while a holiday has been announced for Christian employees on December 26 in connection with Christmas.
The birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan is celebrated by the entire nation with great enthusiasm and devotion every year. The day will begin with a gun salute in the federal and provincial capitals, after which there will be a grand ceremony of changing the guards at the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi.
Official ceremonies and events will be held across the country to pay tribute to the Quaid-e-Azam’s life, political struggle and important role in the establishment of Pakistan.
