Decided to install air purifiers in Punjab to deal with smog

Lahore (Pakistan News online) The Director general (DG) Environment has directed to install air purifiers in all districts of Punjab to deal with smog.

DG Environment Imran Hamid Sheikh issued a notification in this regard.

According to the notification, all shopping malls in Punjab have been directed to install air purifiers, all commercial plazas in the province will also install air purifiers.

The number of air purifiers should be appropriate and reasonable, it was clarified.

The notification also states that shopping malls and commercial plazas should ensure the provision of clean air to customers.

It is noteworthy that The decision was taken in view of the poor air quality in the province, especially in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Gujranwala divisions.
