Karachi (Pakistan News Online) The Sindh government has issued a minimum salary notification.
According to the spokesperson of the Labor Department, the minimum wage will be applicable from July 1, 2024 and the minimum wage was increased after the approval of the Sindh Chief Minister.
The spokesperson said that in the industrial and commercial establishments across the province, there will be a monthly wage of Rs 37,000 and female workers will also be given the same salary as male workers.
The spokesman of the labor department said that if an institution is paying more already, it will not be reduced. All institutions will be bound to implement the notification.
