Lahore (Pakistan News) Punjab Govt announced a holiday in all schools of the province tomorrow and in this regard an official notification also issued.
it is said in the notification of school education department, government of punjab that all the public and private schools of the province shall remain closed on Friday, oct 18, 2014.
all chief executives officers in the province are directed to ensure compliance of the orders, further stated in the mentioned notification.
on other hand, The administration also imposed Section 144 across the province for two days, October 18 and 19, banning all protests and rallies.
The decision aims to maintain law and order following widespread students protest, which has led to demonstrations across the province.
official say that these steps are being taken to maintain law and order in the province.
